Registration for 2024 Spring Madeira Rec Volleyball Open - February 29th!

Please note:

~ Practices will be based on gym and coach's availability.  We will attempt to work around other activity conflicts but you must let us know upon registration. Days and times to be announced the first week of March.

~ Registration is open to children living in the Madeira City School District or, with permission, those without a team in their school district.
 
~ Athletic division for girls 5th and 6th grades - this is a tryout team and is competitive. There are no playing time requirements or serve restrictions in this division. Positional play will be utilized. Tryouts will be the first week in March. We will not be holding additional tryouts. Contact [email protected] immediately if you have a conflict. 

~ There will be girls individual regular rec divisions for all grades this year - 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th-12th.

~ Boys divisions this year will be 3/4 combined, 5/6 combined, and 7/8th combined.

~ League games will begin Aprilr 7th. The season will consist of 10 matches over six weeks, post-season tournament May 21-22.

~ Registration is $70 per player and includes home gym fees (Yay! no need to carry cash when you are in Madeira). In addition, players will need to wear shorts, gym shoes, and knee pads.

~ 3rd-6th grade players will play with a VolleyLite and are encouraged to purchase a VolleyLite ball to practice at home. Coaches will have balls at practice, please do not bring balls to practice.

~ By registering your child, you understand that your family will be required to volunteer at games.  Don't worry, it's easy! Volunteer roles include line judges, scorer's table, and gym monitor. You can learn how to do it on the spot!

~ Teams are random draw. Once teams are set, we cannot make changes.  However, if you have any special concerns that will impact your child's attendance or play, please make note of them in your registration so we can do our best to make any necessary accommodations. This includes all extracurriculars such as if your child plays another sport. If we don't know about issues at registration, it is unlikely we will be able to help after registration is over. *Refunds will be for unforeseen circumstances only, not conflicts that you did not note on your registration.
